They don’t look too apey… but these primates show just how closely they are related to humans.
Caught in reflective mood, their mannerisms and facial expressions are remarkably similar to our own.
Pulling an ear, scratching their head or with their chin resting on their fingers, these monkey-puzzlers were snapped over several months in their natural habitat by British wildlife photographers Anup Shah and Fiona Rogers.
Anup said: “You can tell that they really are 97% human.”
