UFO-Alien Abduction Still Haunts Travis Walton

UFO-Alien Abduction Still Haunts Travis Walton 2

Close encounters of the FOURTH kind. That’s when a person claims to have been kidnapped by a UFO and its reportedly otherworldly occupants.

Of course, there’s no tangible evidence that anyone has ever been taken aboard an extraterrestrial spacecraft. But there are those who claim they’ve been abducted, and their stories are chilling.

Travis Walton’s terrifying account is the stuff movies are made from, and he joins us on the HuffPost Weird News podcast to talk about that day 40 years ago, when the then 22-year-old logger says he was knocked unconscious, and woke up to find he was surrounded by ETs aboard their ship.

“It was a metallic, glowing disc, making some very strange sounds,” Walton told us. “The closer I got to it, the more scared we all got and they were swearing at me to get away from there, and when I got up close, it suddenly got louder and started to move.

“I jumped for cover and then jumped up to run back to the truck, and that’s when this blast of energy hit me, and I just felt this numbing shock go through my body. But the crew said it threw me through the air 10 or 20 feet and I landed in a way that they were immediately certain it had killed me, and they fled.”

The incident began on Nov. 5, 1975, after a long day of work in the Sitgreaves National Forest near Heber, Arizona. Walton and six other loggers were heading home when they suddenly saw a 40-foot-diameter shiny disc hovering in the air.

Walton first told his extraordinary story in a 1978 book, “The Walton Experience,” which became a 1993 film, “Fire In The Sky.” His account has just been turned into a candid documentary, “Travis: The True Story of Travis Walton.”

Walton reveals the terrifying details of his experience at the hands of several “non-human” beings, and his feelings of suffocation and the fear that he was dying as the event unfolded.

“When I was first able to focus my eyes good enough, I was still on the table. And as soon as I saw this face, and knew it wasn’t human, I tried to hit it away from me. They were much smaller than me, and I think that’s the reason they gave up. Once they found out they couldn’t control me, they split. I was absolutely terrified.”

Walton, pictured at right, was declared missing for five days, during which time his logger buddies fell under suspicion of foul play. When Walton finally turned up again, not knowing how long he’d been gone, an intense investigation was underway, including multiple polygraph, physical and psychological tests.

He tells HuffPost about little known aftermath details, including subsequent research in the forest area which has shown an unusual growth rate in trees in the immediate vicinity of the encounter.

“About 15 years later, it was discovered that the trees nearest to where [the UFO] hovered had been producing wood fiber at 36 times the rate it had in the 85 years before that,” Walton says. “More recently, a complete core sampling revealed that this thickened growth was only on the side of the trees towards, or in the direction that the craft had been.”

Walton addresses the stigma that he and so many other people — who claim encounters with possible alien beings — are generally considered unreliable wackos.

“The scientific evidence of the likelihood of intelligent life in our vicinity has become so overwhelming that the people who believe that we’re alone in the universe — thoseare the kooks.”

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of his close encounter, Walton will speak at the November Skyfire Summit in Arizona. On the agenda is a road trip to the exact spot where this four-decade-long controversy began.

  1. Fire in the Sky was a total crock of shit….Hollywood twisted it into a horror movie. what REALLY happened was this: On that 1975 evening, Travis saw the ET ship and ran towards it….BUT the ship was giving off an energy field, likely from its propulsion system or something…when Travis got too close, the energy caused his heart to stop totally. (A similar thing happened in Randolshem forest in 1980 to some us military guys) The ET’s, realizing what just happened, took him on board their ship and repaired the damage to Travis’s body . Upon waking, Travis did freak out for a moment, and the ET’s left the room he was in. He then walked out of the ship, seeing it was parked in the hanger bay of a HUGE mother ship. He met other ET’s, as well, one looking like a tall, blonde, muscular human (probably the ones referred to as the “Nordics”, possibly the beings of aliens Hitler was said to have met at least once) and he showed Travis about the ship and Travis even got to pilot the ship a little bit. The head of my Ufology/Exopolitcs group, E.T.C.A.R.E. met him once or twice. Hollywood made into fear porn.

  2. You guys really need to read Dolores Cannons’ books…especially “The Custodians”…I have had experiences since childhood. Once you understand what is really going on…you can let go the FEAR.

    • ur retarded seriously come to my place and if you can logically explain my physical evidence, not including my pics and videos of both aliens and ufo’s but just threw science logically explain how my evidence was created then i’ll take back the retarded remark

    • Melina Ferrand it doesn’t matter mine or anyone elses story why try to dis credit a valuable piece of knowledge of the experience by bringing addiction into it, so what if he smoked pot? it’s not addictive nor does it make you see spaceships!

    • if anything it helps create a vibrational signal more acceptable for receiving by aliens instead of a stressed out mind trying to achieve the same communication

    • of coarse ppl whom have never seen a ufo would laugh, i did too at one time, you stop laughing when a ship is less than 100 ft in front of you , doing moves and speeds impossible for our physics

    • translation is broken but again with the drugs… whats next my camera is on drugs or my 60 yr old neighbor who seen with me or my 13 yr old son? c’mon i understand believing in aliens sounds completely crazy and drugs is logical, right up until it happens to you

    • The unknown. He didn’t know what he was seeing, who he was looking at, what they were up to… and then later mass confusion because he saw people that he thought were like him but weren’t and they wouldn’t speak to him.

  4. I want to believe travis,i spoken to him a few times,my girlfriend and i on september 26,2015 have photos of craft that were taken prior to the bloodmoon event,we seen many and yes we were sober,i have video and still shots,im down to earth guy very spiritual and so is my girlfriend,im a little bothered by it evey time i look at them, its a strage feeling, have a good night

  5. Travis Walton Alien abduction is considered by many as the smoking gun of ET genetic experiments on humans.
However, the positive proof that Travis was indeed kidnapped by some unknown beings, lies with Travis himself. All we’re left with, is a story with no verifiable evidence that Aliens were involved!

  6. the guy i seen had eyes like these 3 aliens, and a head like them too except he was short like 2 ft and had little anteni, and all around the brow all the way connecting around this large cow size eyes is little bumpy nubs like how the mexican makeup looks for El Dia de los Muertos, and i dont care what anyone says i know how that whole thing started cuz if people seen the same being and they were as scared as i was when i seen this yes i would make a parade out of it if a bunch of us seen him ..

    • He does appearances. Also, what REALLY happened was this: On that 1975 evening, Travis saw the ET ship and ran towards it….BUT the ship was giving off an energy field, likely from its propulsion system or something…when Travis got too close, the energy caused his heart to stop totally. 7. I was told by a Hindu Guru if you catch an Alien you can ask them for anything you want and they will give it to you. This goes for abductees, you have to show them no fear, and smile a lot.

When you radiate “Fear” to an Alien, then they too become fearful. Dogs are like this too.

    • Niko Lalangas Actually yes….my friend, head of our Ufo/Exopoltics group, E.T.C.A.R.E., his sone was trying a solo CE5/remote viewing and he had a mental/physic episode where he ‘traveled’ astral to an Et’s world, and he saw them all over the place…and he got scared…the ET’s said, “Go home, you STINK of fear!” and threw him out. And who’s to argue with a Hindu, there sacred books SCREAM alien visitations.

    • Throughout this world there is a wide variety of Spiritual, Psychic and UFO experiences. Even in the Bible it says, “Seek and you shell find”
Each individual walks their own path, or they get on the path of someone’s suggestion, or by force.
What each person believes is because of their own experiences, conditioning and intellect.

    • Facts represent Empirical Science. Perceptions are what we perceive. This is why science tests what it perceives. Testing to prove it as a fact.
I could perceive a snake in my yard, on close examination it turns out to be a rope.
Philosophy is made up of “words and language” and words and language can be false, can be manipulate to trick the listener.

    • Not true. Facts represent everything from science to history to real life occurrences to math.

So although all of these are interesting topics – once again, the question remains unanswered.

Because of the response, I’m going to have to call bullshit on this one. 🙂

    • Niko Lalangas One slight thing, Niko…..about 600 years ago, “Facts” were: The earth is flat (And despite what these “flat earther” prats these days say, it’s a ball, not a pancake 😛 ; Man can not fly, man will NEVER reach the moon, the sound barrier will NEVER be broken! This were all considered FACTS at one point, Niko…..think about that

    • Niko, try this channel, over the past 10 years of research i did, this channel is probably one of the more sensible, non sensationalized channel around. And discusses the ET, and how their technology is centered around thought and consciousness…they ‘think’ what they want their machines to do and it happens, same for communications…..think of this, Niko….an advanced, civilized society, especially millions of years ahead of us, would appear ‘magical’ or ‘impossible’ to us….like how WE appear ‘magical’ to primitive tribal people (there has been islanders who actually made mock up of airplanes after they saw them and worshiped them) so the more “WHAT THE FUCK?!” it seems, the more likely it’s an actual reality.

    • The truth, if it were present, would be very lovely and freeing. I could free myself from this wordy irrelevant discussion. 😉

So – would Al like to answer the original question yet?

Or – Would else like to tell me things I already know instead?
