Do aliens prefer country music over rock, jazz or space-age bachelor pad? You might think that with the number of country music stars who claim to have seen UFOs. One of them is Kacey Musgraves, who talks about her experience in the current issue of People magazine.
Kacey won a Grammy in 2014 for Best Country Album for “Same Trailer Different Park” but before that she was known for revealing on Twitter in 2012 that she’s had two UFO sightings. She talks about them in greater detail in the People magazine interview.
I’ve seen UFOs. One was in Mexico and I was with several other people. I was on the beach after my friend’s wedding, after midnight, and it was the craziest movement of light in the sky. All of us watched it for like 20 minutes. It changed shape, it flew across the sky. It did wacky s— that nothing normal would do. I was completely sober, swear to God! Four days later, I was in Nashville on the porch at night and out of the corner of my eye, looked over in the sky and hovering over the neighborhood were two giant balls of fire, just floating along. At first I thought it was a helicopter, but it was being controlled! It was crazy. I am definitely a believer. I don’t think we are alone.
Neither does alternative country singer and producer Ryan Adams, who tweeted in 2013 about his own UFO sighting while driving at night in Glendale, CA. He claimed that other drivers saw the huge UFO too, as well as the police and some helicopters who chased it.
Billy Ray Cyrus (you know – Miley’s dad), posted a picture in 2011 of a fleet of UFOs he saw along with this tweet:
O. K. . ..my first U F O sighting. Looks like 5 or 6 disk like shapes hovering. Special moment 4 DAD.
Then there’s the mysterious case of Jim Sullivan. Who?
In 1969, country rock singer Jim Sullivan released an album called “U.F.O.” It didn’t sell very well and in 1975, Jim decided to try his luck in Nashville. He left L.A. and drove his VW Beetle to Santa Rosa, New Mexico, where he check into a hotel. Not long after that, his car was found 26 miles away. Jim was never seen again. Many believe he was abducted because he talked and sang about it and in his car was his guitar, something family and friends said he would have taken if he was planning to just disappear.
What do you think? Maybe aliens like country music because UFOs are the pickup trucks of their planets.
