Photos taken by NASA’s Curiosity rover appear to capture another statue on the Red Planet’s surface.
The image shows a rock formation with what looks like eyes, a nose, a mouth and a cone-shaped beard.
Truth seekers claim the face could be a statue paying homage to the ancient Sumerian race.
According to Ancient Code, ancient astronaut theorists believe an alien race known as the Anunnaki colonised Mars and Earth and were supported by the Sumerians.
The discovery comes after a bizarre “800-year-old” mobile phone was found in Austria.
Conspiracists claim the clay copy of the modern-day gadget features a writing style known as cuneiform – one of the first writing systems created by the ancient Sumerians of Mesopotamia.
The statue is a latest in a line of formations discovered by the Curiosity rover on the Red Planet suggesting it was once inhabited.
In October, images emerged of what appeared to show a Mount Rushmore-style monument built on Mars paying tribute to Egyptian gods and Queen Victoria.
UFO hunters were stunned to find a giant “Buddha statue” on the planet’s surface while an ancient stone circle similar to Stonehenge was also discovered.
Earlier this month truth-seekers were blown away by photos appearing to show a UFO hovering above Mars.
Arguments for life on Mars were further ignited in September after Nasa scientists revealed water was found on Mars.
