Wally Wallington shows us how it could have been; With appropriate knowledge of mechanics, with easily obtainable or manufacturing materials and using the same mass of an object, Wallington shows us how a single person can move rocks of several tons, elevate and erect them.

This carpenter retired a few years ago had to remove large blocks of concrete without the aid of machinery, improvising a solution he found the way using stones as pivots and wooden roads to roll large blocks.
With ingenuity, scaffolding, wooden stakes and simple tools, Wallington also manages to lift large weights and assemble blocks on blocks using gravity as a tool.
Better yet, Wallington has calculated that with his method, he and a team of 640 people could build the Great Pyramid of Giza in 25 years working 40 hours a week.
I would need 520 people moving the blocks from the quarry to the site and 120 people moving the blocks on the site. Your equipment could move 7,000 pounds over 100 feet per minute, and would not require laborious external ramps.
A replica of Stonehenge is being built in the garden of his house, using only levers. His team consists of sticks and stones. Do not use wheels, cranes, pulleys or machinery. As he says, his favorite tool is gravity.
