Miley Cyrus wants to connect with aliens at Stonehenge after Glastonbury performance

She rocked the Pyramid Stage on Sunday, but the highlight of Miley Cyrus’s Glastonbury experience was definitely seeing Stonehenge, where she had a ‘spiritual’ experience.

The Mother’s Daughter singer looked like a bonafide rock star as she took to the stage for her Glasto set, rocking PVC trousers and large aviator shades, as she belted out her own hits and a cover of Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black.

After her performance, Miley used her downtime to visit Stonehenge, the prehistoric monument located in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

The circle of stones dates from around 3000 BC and Pagans and Druids gather at the site for the summer and winter solstice.

Miley shared her experience with fans, posting a selfie captioned: ‘Stonehenge was a spiritual experience, thank you.’

She added: ‘I hope the aliens believe in me.’ We’re sure they do, Miley, we’re sure they do.

As well as her incredible performance on the main stage at Glastonbury, Miley unveiled her music video for Mother’s Daughter this week.

The video is a statement in feminism, with messages including ‘every woman is a riot’, ‘virginity is a social construct’, and ‘feminist AF.’

The video also has female guest stars, including drag queen Ashley Amazon and transgender model Aaron Phillip as well as Miley’s own mother, Tish Cyrus, the namesake for the song. Mother’s Daughter is the first single from Miley’s forthcoming album, She Is Coming, which is definitely going to have a few more fierce feminist anthems on it too. We can’t wait.
