To the Stars Academy wants the public to have access to more government information on UFOs.

On June 23, DeLonge took to social media to share that To the Stars Academy was able to get language regarding unidentified aerial phenomena inserted into Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Authorization Act. If passed, how the government conceals and reports on classified information regarding UFOs would change.

To the Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences has been at the forefront of recent government involvement with UFOs. They released three videos in December 2017 and March 2018 that showed objects in the sky that reportedly dated back to the mid-2000s.

A year later in 2019, the U.S. Navy acknowledged these videos and considered the “phenomena contained/depicted in those videos as unidentified.” This all eventually led to the To the Stars Academy’s partnership with the U.S. Army. Then, in April 2020, the Pentagon officially released three videos featuring alleged evidence of UFOs.

Now, DeLonge and To the Stars Academy are trying to change how the government conceals information regarding unidentified objects. Ultimately, To The Stars Academy wants the public to have more access to classified information pertaining to UFOs. That way, everyone can have further knowledge and understanding of these past and future discoveries.

DeLonge shared that their proposal has been successfully added into the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Authorization Act for the 2021 fiscal year. The proposal, however, still has various other steps to go through before it can become law.

“‪TO THE STARS has done it again,” DeLonge says. “Chris Mellon (CHAIRMAN of TTSA Scientific and National Security Policy Advisory Board, & FMR UNDERSECRETARY OF DEFENSE FOR INTELLIGENCE) was able to get UNIDENTIFIED AERIAL PHENOMENA language inserted into the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Yr 2021‬. Now we will help push this through the final steps to become law.”

The proposal was added into the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Authorization Act by Chris Mellon. Mellon is a chairman of To the Stars Academy. He is also a chairman of the National Security Policy Advisory Board.

Collectively, To the Stars Academy believes that having access to more UFO government documents will allow national security to be stronger. The information could also allow for future scientific breakthroughs.

“The Senate requirement for the Intelligence Community to prepare a public report on the UAP issue acknowledges the legitimacy of the #UAP phenomenon,” Mellon tweets. “This alone is a great achievement for national security but potentially science as well. It could prove transformational. #TTSA”

In a recent AP TV interview, DeLonge opened up about why he finds aliens so interesting. The former blink-182 member and current Angels and Airwaves frontman also revealed various other facts you may not know about him.
